them for their creative efforts in promoting peace to many young people over the years.

Frank White, the 2008 Honoree for Partners for Violence Prevention's Spirit of Peace Celebration, is one of the curators for an exhibit at the Minnesota Historical Society.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul office of Weber Shandwick has selected Partners for Violence Prevention as its pro bono client for 2010.

“Weber Shandwick is honored to partner with Partners for Violence Prevention in its important task of eradicating violence,” said Sara Gavin, president of Weber Shandwick’s Minneapolis-St. Paul office. “We selected PVP as our 2010 pro bono client because of the organization’s measured approach to outreach and our belief that effective communication will help it achieve its mission.

 

Franni Franken Visits Partners for Violence Prevention

We were honored on January 13th, 2010 to have Franni Franken visit our offices. Franni, the wife of Senator Al Franken, has an interest in the issue of domestic violence and wanted to learn more about Partners for Violence Prevention. Franni will be returning to PVP soon to visit our Family Center program.
