Partners for Violence Prevention provides alternatives to violence through innovative and holistic programs for children, youth and families in the Twin Cities.
The arts model of teaching along with the outstanding talents and dedication of these four educators creates a truly successful and unique climate for student learning. We are pleased to give Darrell Baggenstoss, Sidney Pudwill, Patrice Cassil and Ahna Logan the 2010 Spirit of Peace award, to honor them for their creative efforts in promoting peace to many young people over the years.
Frank White, the 2008 Honoree for Partners for Violence Prevention's Spirit of Peace Celebration, is one of the curators for an exhibit at the Minnesota Historical Society.
PVP currently has openings to serve on its Board of Directors. We are in need of IT, Marketing and Communications and Donor Development expertise in addition to general business and community representatives.
